WCS Pittsburgh, also known as the Women’s Center & Shelter, is a dedicated organization that offers help, healing, and hope to adults and children who are experiencing domestic violence. Our comprehensive range of services and programs is designed to support survivors at every stage of their journey. From seeking safety and emergency shelter to protection orders and planning for personal safety, we ensure that survivors have the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Our Healing & Support services include a hotline, support groups, individual therapy for adults, and counseling for children. We also provide advocacy for refugees, immigrants, and limited English speakers, as well as LGBTQIA+ individuals. Our legal advocacy team is available to offer guidance and support through the legal process.
