Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer is a brand that specializes in road and traffic management in Belgium. One of their current projects involves the construction of a new carpool parking facility along the Steenweg op Sint-Truiden in Walshoutem, Landen.

As part of this initiative, all on and off ramps to the E40 in Landen will be closed from August 29th to September 4th, 2023, for asphalt works. Traffic on the E40 will be redirected through Tienen and Waremme during this time. The carpool parking area in Walshoutem will also receive a fresh layer of asphalt.

Once completed, the ramps are expected to reopen on September 5th, 2023. To minimize disruption, alternative routes and temporary traffic lights will be implemented to accommodate local traffic
