About

Description

The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society, located in Wenatchee, WA, is dedicated to serving the community through education, animal protection, and pet adoptions. Since its founding in 1967 by Gwyneth and Bruce Mitchell, the society has been committed to giving hope and homes to homeless animals in the Wenatchee Valley. Over the years, the shelter has grown and expanded, offering a wide range of services.

The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society provides services to care for displaced pets, reunite lost pets with their owners, rescue injured and lost animals, and offer spay/neuter programs. They also strive to keep families and pets together during times of need by assisting with pet food banks, behavioral modification, and investigating animal cruelty cases. Additionally, they provide adoption services for those looking to give these animals a forever home.

Thanks to generous donors, the shelter has undergone a transformation, with a new building and a Memorial Garden where community members can pay tribute to loved ones and pets. The society also operates an on-site clinic to meet the medical needs of shelter animals and provide spay/neuter and vaccination services to income-qualified pet owners. Committed to building a community of responsible animal owners, the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society offers education and outreach programs.

They also provide animal care and control services for protection and rescue and adoption services. With a mission to rescue, protect, educate, and adopt, the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society is dedicated to growing and changing with the community. They strive to provide resources and services to meet the ever-changing needs of pets and their owners.
