WESST, also known as the Women's Economic Self-Sufficiency Team, is a statewide 501(c)(3) small business assistance organization based in New Mexico. Founded by three women in 1989, WESST is dedicated to supporting individuals who want to start or improve their businesses. They focus their services on women, people of color, and low-wealth New Mexicans.

WESST offers a range of core services, including business consulting, training, incubation, and access to capital. They believe in a no barriers to entry approach, meaning that anyone can seek their assistance without having to meet specific prerequisites or qualifications. By educating, encouraging, and inspiring their clients, WESST helps transform lives and create pathways to business success.

They provide training and consulting in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility, and they have seven offices located throughout the state. WESST has received numerous awards and recognitions for their contributions, including the Mayor's Prize for Entrepreneurship and the Women's Business Center of Excellence Award.
