About

Description

Western Sign is a renowned sign company with a rich history dating back to 1946. It was founded by Jean Manning, a talented sign writer who initially worked at Walt Disney Studios in Hollywood. In 1959, Jean decided to start her own venture and moved to Placerville, CA, where she established Western Sign Company.

Initially, the company offered services such as lettering banners, show cards, and trucks. However, as the demand for neon and fluorescent signs grew, Western Sign expanded its offerings to include these types of signage. With the purchase of their first crane, they were able to provide installation and maintenance services as well.

Throughout the years, Western Sign continued to embrace new technologies. They were quick to adopt the first vinyl cutter in 1980 and invested in the first CAD Cam Machine in the late 80s and early 90s. This dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry allowed them to serve a wide range of clients, especially in Northern California and Nevada.

Today, Western Sign is proud to employ a team of highly skilled professionals with a combined experience of over 250 years. Their expertise enables them to take on complex projects and deliver outstanding results. Whether it's design, manufacturing, installation, or service, Western Sign is committed to exceeding customer expectations and embracing new challenges
