West Health is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the successful aging of seniors through philanthropy, medical research, and policy and advocacy. With a mission to lower healthcare costs, West Health aims to ensure that seniors can age in place with access to high-quality, affordable health and support services that maintain their dignity, quality of life, and independence. West Health consists of three separate entities working together: the West Health Institute, the Gary and Mary West Foundation, and the West Health Policy and Advocacy Center.

The Institute conducts applied medical research to generate evidence for healthcare providers, policymakers, and communities, while the Foundation provides outcomes-based funding to support initiatives that lower healthcare costs. The Policy and Advocacy Center develops and supports research to reduce legislative and regulatory barriers and increase reimbursement opportunities for acute and chronic care models and supportive services for seniors. Through their combined efforts, West Health focuses on studying, developing, and advancing scalable and sustainable healthcare delivery models that make aging in place more affordable.
