With a strong focus on giving back to the community, Chad and Taylor, the founders of White Mountain Construction, have partnered with Building Homes for Heroes®. Since 2006, this organization has made a significant difference in the lives of wounded American service members by gifting mortgage-free homes that meet their specific needs.

Through these homes, they aim to remove the financial burden faced by these heroes and restore their freedom, enabling them to lead more independent and productive civilian lives. With an emphasis on organizational efficiency and sound fiscal responsibility, Building Homes for Heroes® ensures that the majority of funds are directed towards gifting and modifying homes rather than overhead costs. In 2021, their goal is to gift and modify 40 homes, equivalent to more than one home every 11 days.

To further support the recipients, the organization provides Certified Financial Planners® to offer pro-bono financial advice and guidance, helping them navigate home expenses, property taxes, and plan for a successful future. Building Homes for Heroes® also encourages wounded veterans to actively participate in organizational events, fostering camaraderie and enabling them to define themselves by their accomplishments rather than their injuries.
