Wildfire is a small business started in 2016 by Kristien and Dave. With a passion for nature and butterflies, they aim to capture the beauty of these creatures in their unique creations. Using antique or new bell jars, frames, driftwood, and welded forms, they create stunning montages with distinct color combinations.

The butterflies they offer are sourced from butterfly farms in South America, Africa, and Asia. Wildfire carefully selects suppliers who prioritize the ethical and fair treatment of butterflies. It is important to note that no butterflies are harmed for the purpose of selling.

Most tropical butterflies have a lifespan of just a few days to a few weeks. After they naturally pass away, they are carefully dried and sold, with the proceeds being reinvested into the butterfly farms.
