Windwood Millers Ltd is a privately owned limited liability company located in Lira Municipality, northern Uganda. With humble beginnings as a rice farm in Kole district, the company has grown significantly since its establishment in 2000. It was formally registered with the government of Uganda in 2009.

In 2015, it embarked on a new venture by setting up and installing a state-of-the-art factory in Industrial Area, Lira, marking its entry into the cassava processing industry. The factory utilizes modern flash drying technology to process and market high-quality cassava starch flour. Windwood Millers Ltd works closely with AfrII's Cassava Adding Value project (CAVA) and has established a network of over 400 smallholder farmers who supply fresh cassava roots to the factory.

The company processes these roots into various products to cater to different markets. Their flagship product, Windwood Cassava Flour, is a gluten-free, grain-free, and nut-free alternative to wheat flour. It is highly nutritious and affordable, making it a valuable source of nutrition for millions of people globally.
