Founded in 2022 by Lauren VanCleave & Jason Searby, two wine aficionados with over 35 years of combined experience in the industry, Wine Shop is a unique wine bar and boutique shop located in downtown New Albany. At Wine Shop, we believe that a wine bar is more than just a place to enjoy a glass of wine. It's a gathering place for the community to connect, collaborate, and innovate.

We are passionate about high-quality, socially responsible wine and we support small business owners and women in the industry. As a bar, we offer an extensive selection of wines, including local favorites and craft beers. We also have a variety of non-alcoholic options.

While we don't have a full menu, we do offer delicious snacks such as a cheese tray from Steckler Speciality, homemade meatballs, and foie gras potato chips imported from Spain. With a cozy atmosphere and a capacity of 50 seats inside and 20 outside, you'll have plenty of opportunity to share space with friends and neighbors. Our knowledgeable and inclusive staff, including badass women and queer bartenders, are here to ensure you have the best experience possible.
