Wiseguy Pizza believes that pizza is an art form, and their vision sets them apart. They create authentic, old-world pies cooked in deck ovens at a minimum of 550 degrees. The dough sits directly on the stone for a crust with a bread-like, chewy texture that is perfectly puffy.
The thin crust is golden and crispy, but not cracker-like, making it foldable, lightly charred, and a touch salty. Wiseguy Pizza takes pride in using quality, carefully sourced ingredients such as all-natural cheese from Wisconsin, fresh-packed tomato sauce from California, and extra virgin olive oil and parmigiano-reggiano from Italy. Their sauces and dressings are made in-house, and they even filter their water for better dough quality.
Nuri, the man behind the vision, has dedicated himself to perfecting his pizza. After traveling the world in search of the best pizza, he opened Wiseguy Pizza in 2012. With rave reviews from critics and customers alike, Wiseguy Pizza now has four locations in the DC area and plans for expansion
