Google+ is undergoing significant changes, and it's important to understand what this means for users. As of April 2nd, 2019, the consumer version of Google+ will be shut down, and all associated accounts and pages will be deleted. Any photos, videos, and content on Google+ will also be deleted.

To avoid losing your content, it is crucial to take action and save your data before the shutdown. However, for G Suite users, which includes businesses, educational institutions, and organizations, the enterprise version of Google+ will remain active. G Suite admins can find more information about the impact of the consumer Google+ shutdown in the Help Center. For developers, Google+ APIs will be discontinued, and it is recommended to migrate to alternative APIs like Google Sign-in and Google People API. Some critical Google+ APIs will be temporarily available for sign-in functionality until March 7th.
