WoAA India is the first international chapter of Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA), operating under the D&I division of AIAA. As a sister organization to WoAA Official, WoAA India strives to build an inclusive and diverse community for individuals pursuing careers in aeronautics, astronautics, and STEM. With a focus on students and researchers, our mission is to empower and support aspiring professionals by providing access points in space academia and the industry.

We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for women, gender minorities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, facilitating engagement and networking opportunities throughout India. Our initiatives include offering support, empowerment, and networking opportunities for women and gender minorities in the aerospace field, starting from university students. We aim to enhance female and gender minority participation in the aerospace industry through technical and professional development.

Additionally, we create a safe and welcoming space through mentorship programs and outreach efforts. Together, we strive to build a supportive community within the aerospace industry.
