Woodfords Family Services, established in 1967, was born out of the passion and dedication of five families seeking specialized educational services for their children with disabilities. Today, after 50 years of unwavering commitment, Woodfords Family Services has become one of Maine's largest providers of disability-related services. Their mission is to support and include individuals with special needs and their families within Maine communities.

Woodfords Family Services offers an extensive range of programs and services for both children and adults. For children, they provide adoption home studies, behavioral consultation, early childhood services, outpatient services, rehabilitative and community support, and more. They also offer a Therapeutic Foster Care program and the Wendy's Wonderful Kids Adoption Program.

Adults can benefit from behavioral consultation, community case management, residential services, shared living, and expeditions community supports. Woodfords Family Services also provides valuable training resources through their training and resource center. They actively seek individuals willing to open their hearts and homes to adults with disabilities by becoming foster care or shared living providers.
