The West Virginia Golf Association (WVGA) is a dedicated and influential organization committed to promoting and preserving the game of golf in West Virginia. With a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1913 as the West Virginia District Golf Association, WVGA now boasts a membership of 85 Member Clubs and over 11,000 individual golfers across the state. At WVGA, we serve as a centralized source of information for our esteemed Member Clubs, providing a wide range of services and expertise.

As the representative of the United States Golf Association (USGA) in West Virginia, we take pride in administering the USGA Handicap System and Course/Slope Rating System, conducting qualifying rounds, and handling amateur status matters. In addition to our core functions, WVGA takes great pleasure in organizing various events and tournaments for men, women, juniors, and seniors, including the renowned Campbell Classic Senior Series and the WV Amateur Series presented by PSIMED. Moreover, we oversee The First Tee of West Virginia and offer one-day events for golfers across all age groups.
