About

Description

The Washington Wildlife Rehabilitation Association (WWRA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2003. As a collective voice dedicated to advancing professional wildlife rehabilitation in Washington State, WWRA serves as a network that provides a unified voice, support system, and educational resource for individuals involved in wildlife rehabilitation. The mission of WWRA is to foster continuous improvement of wildlife rehabilitation in Washington State through education and community-building.

They aim to support the science and profession of wildlife rehabilitation and its practitioners by disseminating knowledge through meetings, reports, publications, symposia, and other means. WWRA also promotes educational programs, teaching natural history, and emphasizing the kinship among all living beings. Furthermore, WWRA strives to promote cooperation between professional and governmental agencies, wildlife rehabilitators, and the general public.

They provide support to their members through networking and mentoring opportunities. If you've found an animal in need, WWRA offers resources to help you find a rehabilitator near you. To learn more about wildlife rehabilitation or get involved, visit the WWRA website
