About

Description

The Victorian Government has introduced two support payment schemes to assist Victorians who have paid money to a building company that has gone into liquidation. The Porter Davis Homes Customer Support Payment Scheme, launched on May 29, 2023, is specifically for customers of Porter Davis Homes who entered into a Housing Industry Association (HIA) domestic building contract and paid a deposit, but did not receive domestic building insurance due to Porter Davis Homes breaching its obligations. The Liquidated Builders Customer Support Payment Scheme, launched on July 28, 2023, extends the existing scheme and provides support to more Victorians.

This scheme is for Porter Davis customers who made a tender-stage payment and customers of other builders who went into liquidation between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023. To check your eligibility and learn more about these schemes, please visit the respective scheme pages. These schemes are available to individuals who signed a building contract and paid a tender stage deposit, and whose builder went into liquidation between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023.
