YALE UNION is a prominent center for contemporary art located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. Founded by artists, our primary objective is to support artists, introduce innovative modes of production, and foster public discourse surrounding art. As an organization, we prioritize offering a platform for artists to showcase their work and engage with the community.

While our location is currently undergoing renovation, we believe that a contemporary art center doesn't need to be architecturally complete to cultivate a vibrant cultural scene. At YALE UNION, we value the spirit of creativity and aim to demonstrate that art can thrive in any setting. When you visit YALE UNION, you'll find us at 800 SE 10th Avenue in Portland, OR.

Although street parking is limited, there is free bicycle parking on SE Morrison street. We are easily accessible by public transit, close to the 15 & 70 bus lines. We regularly update exhibitions on our HOME PAGE and gladly welcome visits from schools, universities, and other groups.

Admission to exhibitions is free, and appointments for the LIBRARY can be made online. We strive to ensure accessibility for visitors with physical disabilities, so please call us at 503 236-7996 upon arrival for assistance.
