YCPTA, also known as the Yonkers Council of Parent Teacher Associations, is a dedicated organization that aims to enhance educational opportunities for children in Yonkers. As part of the Westchester East Putnam Regional PTA, New York State PTA, and National PTA, YCPTA collaborates with families, the community, and businesses to improve and expand public education. Comprised of individual school PTAs and PTSAs, YCPTA works diligently to foster a supportive environment for students.

They offer various programs and initiatives that focus on citizenship and scholarship. Additionally, YCPTA organizes webinars and training sessions for PTA leaders to enhance their skills. With the belief that every child deserves an excellent education, YCPTA advocates for quality education and provides resources and support to parents, students, and educators.
