YWCA Columbus defies the status quo that puts women, people of color, and the marginalized on unequal footing. We are on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, help families, and strengthen the community. Our goal is to create a Columbus of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. At YWCA Columbus, we tackle social justice issues head-on by confronting uncomfortable truths about prejudice and poverty. We believe that the only way to rise above our challenges is to go through them. In addition to social justice, we are committed to providing safe and supportive housing through our Women's Residency Program and YWCA Family Center. We also prioritize youth development by educating our community, aiming to make each new generation braver, wiser, and kinder. Through our various programs and initiatives, we initiate systematic social change and promote empowerment and inclusion. Join us in our mission to create a more equitable and just society.
