The YWCA of the City of New York (YW) is a longstanding and influential organization that has been making a difference in the lives of women and girls since 1858. Additionally, the YWCA of the City of New York runs four affordable high-quality childcare centers in Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn, as well as after-school programs in lower Manhattan, Coney Island, and Brownsville, Brooklyn.
