Zchfp is a voluntary association of business entities in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Slovakia. Established on November 30, 1991, it currently represents 65 member organizations with over 16,000 employees. The organization's main focus is on defending the trade and business interests of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry through dialogue with the parliament, government, trade union centers, interest groups, national and international governmental, and non-governmental organizations.

Zchfp supports the business activities of its member organizations, primarily through its professional information service. It coordinates activities to address common issues, advocates for the interests of the Slovak chemical industry in implementing REACH, and promotes REACH to the professional community. The association also actively participates in the legislative process, fosters social dialogue with the Chemical Industry Trade Union on working conditions, wages, and employee welfare.

Furthermore, Zchfp continually enhances its environmental protection efforts, particularly through projects such as Responsible Care, DINS, and various other specific activities. The association actively collaborates with electronic and other media to garner broad public support for the further development of the Slovak chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
