Zia Pueblo, located in north-central New Mexico, is a historic Native American village with a rich cultural heritage dating back over 600 years. The pueblo is home to Keresan-speaking Indians who have inhabited the area since the 13th century. Offering a glimpse into traditional Pueblo life, Zia Pueblo features two plazas, a Spanish mission, and traditional dwellings made of native rock and mud.
The community engages in agricultural practices, growing corn, beans, squash, and other crops. Visitors can witness the vibrant Corn Dance festival, a highlight of the Pueblo's calendar. Zia Pueblo is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places, recognizing its significance.
Additionally, the pueblo offers official Zia Sun Symbol merchandise, honoring the sacred symbol that represents the Circle of Life to the Zia people. Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Zia Pueblo
