The Public Joint-Stock Company M. I. Kalinin Engineering Plant based in Yekaterinburg, Russia, is a renowned brand with a rich history dating back to 1866.

Initially specializing in the production of electric forklift trucks, the plant became the sole manufacturer of compact one-ton forklifts in the former USSR, producing up to 7,000 units annually. These forklifts boasted exceptional quality and reliability, thanks to the incorporation of cutting-edge dual technologies. In 1994, the plant transformed into a publicly traded company and spearheaded the creation and manufacturing of new electric and diesel forklift trucks, as well as electric platform trucks with a 2-ton capacity.

Presently, the plant produces electric forklifts with a maximum load capacity of 2 tons and electric platform trucks with the same load capacity. These machines weigh 80-250 kg less than their foreign counterparts, thanks to superior component arrangement, mechanisms, and counterweights. Consequently, these forklifts are more versatile, particularly in confined spaces like railway wagons with regulated floor loads, while also exhibiting reduced energy consumption.

Beyond forklifts, the plant has specialized in producing labeling machines for bottles, capable of affixing labels, control labels, collar labels, and excise marks at a rate of up to 15. 6 thousand bottles per hour. Additionally, it has manufactured stone-cutting bar machines for quarrying stone blocks in open mining operations since 1995.

These machines, specifically designed with input from miners, feature forced lubrication of key components for prolonged service life. Starting from 2005, the plant has also been manufacturing the MK-1500 vacuum sweeping machine for mechanized cleaning of yards, sidewalks, and narrow spaces, effectively removing debris, dust, and dirt. The design allows for the attachment of interchangeable tools for winter conditions.
