About ZEROONE Mechatronics
ZEROONE Mechatronics is a brand dedicated to fulfilling the requests of its customers. They are currently in the process of adding DMX 512 compatibility to their Supermodified Servos. But what exactly is DMX? DMX is a control system widely used in stage lighting and effects.
It serves as a standard for digital communication networks that connect lighting consoles to dimmers and special effects devices. The versatility of DMX allows it to control a wide range of equipment, making it popular in theaters and venues. ZEROONE Mechatronics' Supermodified Servos have been used by Soft Lab NY in an incredible installation featuring 100 mirrored panels, each actuated by their Zeus Supermodified Servos.
A DMX512 network consists of a master controller and one or more slave devices, with each device having an IN and often an OUT connector. Termination is important in a DMX system and a terminator needs to be connected to the final OUT or THRU connector.
