Long-tail coverage
Grounded output on smaller brands that foundation models have never seen.
Sourced, not guessed
Every field grounded in source data. No model-only guesses.
Skip the scraping pipeline

Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered
What is Brand Context API?
Brand Context API is a brand intelligence service. You send a domain and get back a structured, narrative-rich profile of the brand: the kind of context useful for grounding LLMs, generating on-brand content, and powering personalized experiences.
How is it better than just asking Claude or GPT?
- Long-tail coverage: grounded output on smaller brands foundation models have never seen.
- Sourced, not guessed: every field is grounded in source data, not a model-only guess.
- Skip the scraping pipeline: faster and more reliable than the scrape-and-extract pipeline you'd build yourself.
What datapoints are returned?
Four objects. meta (domain, canonical name, timestamp), identity (tagline, mission, description, tags), positioning (value proposition, target audiences, products and services), and brand (voice and style). Voice covers tone, attributes, and what to avoid. Style covers colors and fonts with semantic roles, plus the design system. Try the playground.
What is the coverage?
Any URL. Known brands are served from our index instantly. Anything else is built in real time from the live site. No fixed list, no waiting for a brand to be added.
How accurate is it?
Output is grounded in the live site and run through our extraction harness, not pulled from model memory or a raw prompt.
If I call the same domain twice, will I get the same data?
Yes. Cached brands return the same stored result every time until it is refreshed. A URL built live on its first request is generated once, then cached, so only that first build can vary.
Do I need the Brand API too?
They do different jobs. Brand Context covers the semantic layer: mission, positioning, voice, audience, products. Brand API covers the visual layer plus firmographics: logos, colors, fonts, company metadata. They share one credit pool at one credit each.
How does pricing work?
Usage is metered in brand fetches, one per call. $129/month includes 2,500 brand fetches shared across Brand Context and Brand API. Fetches reset monthly and do not roll over. Overage is $0.10 per fetch. Logo and Search APIs have separate limits. See pricing.
What is the latency?
Cached brands return near-instantly. A URL built live targets 10-12 second response time depending on the domain's complexity.
Do you support MCP?
Yes. A production MCP server connects Brand Context to Claude, ChatGPT, and other clients. See the docs.
