Ferman Akgül, who began his music career in the underground music world of Ankara, named the production company 06 Records, inspired by his early days.

As the lead singer of maNga, one of Turkey's most successful rock bands, Ferman has toured Turkey and the world. Through his TV program "Kulaktan Kulağa," he has had the opportunity to explore the richness of Turkey's local music cultures and talents, which has inspired the establishment of 06 Records.
