0800 2 Wheels

0800 2 Wheels NZ provides motorcycle training and licensing services in Whanganui and Palmerston North. Led by Glen Christensen, a motorcycle instructor, inspector and licensing assessor approved by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), the business draws on his more than 30 years of experience repairing, servicing and riding motorcycles, including work as a mechanic at motorcycle shops in the North Island.

The service offers one-to-one training for riders at all experience levels, with sessions designed to help reduce potential hazards in a controlled, calm environment. Courses and assessments include the Basic Handling Skills Test, restricted licence testing and full licence testing. 0800 2 Wheels is also an approved NZTA course provider and offers CBTA and support for people returning to motorcycling. Returning-to-riding sessions are arranged with each rider.

Testing takes place at designated locations in both Whanganui and Palmerston North, with venues varying according to the test type. Locations are subject to weather conditions.
