103 is an architectural lighting design studio working with architects, interior designers and developers across Australia on high-end residential and hospitality projects. The studio treats lighting as an integral part of a space’s identity, using it to shape atmosphere, reveal architectural features and influence how people experience a room. Rather than viewing lighting as a final fixture choice or practical requirement, 103 considers its role from the outset, helping spaces feel considered, distinctive and complete.

Its services include Lighting Reviews for clients seeking an expert assessment of an existing scheme. The team reviews and marks up the design, identifying what could be improved and explaining why. For projects requiring a more comprehensive approach, 103 provides Full Lighting Design, joining at the concept stage and continuing through design development. This service covers fixture selection, lighting layouts, switching, dimming and specifications, integrated with the project’s architectural and interior design intent. Through this collaborative process, 103 aims to bring out the character of a space, preserve its intended mood and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors.
