10 West Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery in downtown Santa Barbara, located half a block from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. The gallery specializes in artists from Santa Barbara and the surrounding region, presenting work across traditional and non-traditional genres, with varying degrees of abstraction and surrealism. Its collection includes oil and acrylic paintings, ceramic vessels, bronze and stone sculpture, textural wall pieces, digital mixed media, and contemporary pottery from Mata Ortiz, Mexico, shown seasonally from mid-November through mid-January.
As a juried, artist-owned cooperative with 28 members, 10 West is directed by founder Jan Ziegler. The gallery organizes exhibitions that typically run for two months, highlighting artists and their work.
