One to One Project

The One to One Project is a registered charity established in 1984 to provide professional, long-term support to adults experiencing emotional, social or mental health difficulties. Based in King’s Lynn, the charity serves people across West and North Norfolk, offering a safe, confidential space where individuals can discuss their experiences and explore choices suited to their needs.

Its services include individual counselling and group work, with in-person counselling available across Norfolk and South Lincolnshire and online counselling offered to people further afield. The Lotus Programme has a catchment area covering King’s Lynn, West Norfolk and North Norfolk. The team works with clients to identify appropriate support, focusing on helping them move towards the life they want rather than requiring them to fit fixed criteria.

The charity also provides information for professionals and welcomes volunteers, fundraisers and prospective trustees. Counselling referrals are open, and applicants must complete their own referral forms. From January 2026, the project plans to introduce a low-cost fee for its services.
