As an independent, Melbourne-based animation studio, 12field understands the key difference between animation and objects merely moving on screen. Our traditional animation background and collective experience in the industry gives us the edge in creating worlds that are believable, appealing and unique. About 12field Animation
12Field Animation Studio is an innovative and dynamic animation studio located in Melbourne, Australia. We specialize in creating high-quality 2D animated content by combining traditional skills with the latest technology. Our talented team is dedicated to upskilling and staying at the forefront of cutting-edge production techniques to deliver exceptional results.
At 12Field, our portfolio of projects showcases our diverse range of expertise. We are currently working on the third season of the critically acclaimed animated children's comedy series The Strange Chores, winner of the 2020 Toronto Animation Arts International Kids Award. Additionally, we are proud to be involved in Season 4 of Little J & Big Cuz, which received the prestigious Logie for most Outstanding Children's Program in 2018.
Previous successful projects include the AACTA award-winning The Flamin' Thongs and two seasons of Dogstar and Dogstar: Christmas in Space. We have also collaborated with MTV to produce animation for Greatest Party Stories Ever. In 2019, we provided Art Direction and Production Design for the game No Way Home for Apple Arcade in partnership with SMG Studio.
