17 Walls is a street art project located in Aarhus, Denmark that transforms the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals into iconic mural paintings. Our mission is to make these global goals visible and tangible through beautifully artistic creations. With high-quality art displayed in the city, we aim to create a shared reference point that inspires collaboration towards a sustainable future.

The project is funded by foundations and businesses that support Aarhus as an innovative city with a strong focus on art and sustainable development. 17 of the world's top street artists have accepted the challenge of creating individual mural paintings inspired by each goal. By turning these goals into powerful works of art, we hope to engage and involve the public in the pursuit of a better future.

All 17 murals will be located within walking distance in Aarhus city center, offering art walks in multiple languages once the project is completed. 17 Walls is initiated by hART Unlimited, a nonprofit organization closely connected to the international street art community.
