Une Pierre Pour Madagascar (UPPM) is a charitable association founded in March 2017 by Marylise Berroy, inspired by her encounter with Sister Andréa of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Based in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar, UPPM's mission is to support the most vulnerable families by providing financial assistance for their children's education.
The organization initially focused on raising funds for the construction and development of the Victoire Rasoamanarivo primary and kindergarten school. In 2018, their efforts expanded to include the financing of a high-quality sports field for the schoolchildren. Over the years, UPPM has significantly increased its impact, with the number of students served growing tenfold.
The association actively engages volunteers and partners to foster solidarity and community support, ensuring that children acquire the foundational knowledge necessary for a brighter future. With a commitment to hope and improvement, UPPM continues to make strides in enhancing educational opportunities for Madagascar's youth.
