1st Way

1st Way Pregnancy Resource Center is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and nonreligious organization serving people with pregnancy questions in the Springfield, Oregon area. It offers a supportive place to talk, with person-to-person guidance, understanding, and reassurance. The center provides free, confidential pregnancy tests and limited obstetrical ultrasounds, along with peer counseling and referrals to medical assistance and local support programs. Walk-ins are welcome.

Services are available at its Springfield office, open Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and through a mobile unit with scheduled stops in Eugene and Springfield. Locations and hours may change, so visitors are encouraged to check current information or call ahead. The center also offers diapers, baby wipes, and clothing from newborn sizes through 5T, and can help connect clients with public assistance resources. 1st Way is staffed entirely by volunteers and relies on donations to continue its outreach; contributions are welcomed and tax deductible.
