1st Place is a registered charity and children and parents’ centre serving families in Southwark, London. It provides a welcoming place where parents, carers and children can find support, learn and spend time together. Its family services include free Stay & Play sessions, play activities, courses and workshops designed to support parents and children’s development, with topics ranging from weaning to wellbeing. The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project offers eligible families free vouchers to buy fruit and vegetables at local markets.
1st Place also operates nurseries in Burgess Park and Elephant and Castle, including Chumleigh Gardens Nursery and The Elephant Nursery.
