1st Port of Dublin Sea Scouts is a brand with a rich history dating back to the first Scout meetings in Ireland in 1908. Offering adventure, team building, and friendship, 1st Port combines outdoor activities and maritime traditions to provide a unique experience for young people in the heart of the Dublin Port region. Sea Scouting with 1st Port fosters resilience, citizenship, and a lifelong commitment to volunteering, while prioritizing water safety, adventure, and shared experiences.

After a period of dormancy, the group was re-opened in 2016 and currently operates a Cub Scout section along with a Sea Scout section named after the founder, Captain Fortune.
