The Kyle Goldberg Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization established after Kyle Goldberg’s death in July 2004. Created in his memory, the foundation aims to support young adults affected by drug addiction and help families and communities better understand the challenges of substance use. Its work focuses on partnering with existing organizations that provide drug-abuse education for young adults, supporting research into the causes of addiction in this age group, and awarding scholarships in Kyle’s memory.

The foundation shares news and hosts events, including an annual holiday tradition and scholarship awards. It also connects people seeking help with established resources, such as the Rockland Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Dependencies and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Westchester Medical Center is a foundation partner, and together they have developed a seminar series focused on addiction issues among young adults. Through these educational partnerships, research efforts, scholarships, and resource referrals, the foundation seeks to honor Kyle’s memory while encouraging informed support for young people facing addiction.
