2002 Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, founded by Gustavo Saraiva and Ron Mukai. It welcomes beginners and experienced athletes, offering structured training for adults and children, as well as private one-to-one sessions. Programs include basic and fundamentals classes, advanced technical training, and age-specific kids’ classes for ages 5–7 and 8–12. Students can train in Gi and No-Gi formats, with classes scheduled throughout the week.

Head coach Gustavo Saraiva is a fifth-degree black belt who has trained since 1998. His competitive achievements include three IBJJF No-Gi World Championship titles, an IBJJF Masters World Championship, a No-Gi Brazilian National Championship, and multiple IBJJF Pan American medals. The academy emphasizes clear coaching, safety, respect, discipline, hygiene, and steady progress in a supportive community. Its modern facilities are designed for comfortable training. New students can book a free trial class, which includes an assessment of their goals and experience, a controlled introduction on the mat, and guidance toward a suitable program.
