2030 Districts Network is a global brand committed to addressing climate change and making meaningful changes within cities. They are at the forefront of creating a new model for urban sustainability and shared economic growth. As a private-public partnership, they unite property owners, managers, developers, stakeholders, and community representatives to achieve significant energy, water, and emissions reductions within commercial cores.

The brand consists of 24 established districts in North America, with over 1,650 organizational members. These districts have collectively committed more than 615 million square feet of commercial building space to address climate change. By 2040, their goal is to achieve zero emissions within the entire built environment.

The 2030 Districts Network follows the incremental reduction targets set by the 2030 Challenge for Planning, issued by Architecture 2030. They aim to eliminate building energy consumption, reduce building water consumption by 50%, and achieve zero transportation GHG emissions. Through strategic partnerships, energy assessments, benchmarking guidance, software tools, and collective buying power, the 2030 Districts Network is driving positive change and helping cities transition to a low carbon economy
