2 Bar C Ranch, located in Luling, Texas, is a family-run operation with a rich history in cattle ranching that dates back to the early 1960s. Founded by Clyde Sommerlatte, the ranch offers premium registered Black Angus cattle. Over the decades, the operation has evolved from commercial cattle ranching to a focus on superior genetics, committing to providing high-quality beef and improving herd genetics for fellow breeders.
The ranch spans 1,000 acres in the scenic Texas Hill Country, where Clyde and his family emphasize sustainable practices and the well-being of both cattle and land. The 2 Bar C Ranch specializes in cattle sales, semen, and embryo sales, as well as managing a herd of high-performing bulls enrolled in the GrowSafe Performance Data program to enhance feed efficiency and overall herd quality. Additionally, the ranch is home to a Sale Barn and Event Center, which hosts livestock sales and special events. 2 Bar C Ranch proudly supports fellow producers in maximizing their herd's potential.
