About [Beyt]
As creators, they are passionate about bringing about positive change through art and are on a constant quest in the Levant to find skilled artisans who deserve recognition for their exceptional craftsmanship. The brand's mission is to transform discarded elements into beautiful, meaningful pieces of art, while also providing dignified work opportunities to marginalized and disabled artisans, including refugees. Firstly, they aim to preserve disappearing heritage by upcycling architectural salvage and traditional craftsmanship into high-end home decor.
Secondly, they promote the inclusion of individuals from diverse faith, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, fostering understanding and building bridges between Middle Easterners and Westerners through art. They prioritize the reuse and transformation of materials, using sustainable cotton, pure linen, and deadstock fabrics and leather to create their products. Over 90% of their creations are made from repurposed materials, and they produce on-demand to avoid overstock.
Their collections are designed with the goal of bringing hope to the artisans and their families
