2 Timer om Ugen is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting multilingual children linguistically, culturally, and socially, to improve their school experience. With a presence in Odense, Esbjerg, and Aarhus, their goal is to provide flersprogede (multilingual) children aged 3-8 with the necessary support to excel in school and pursue further education. This is achieved by connecting volunteers with one or more children for two hours every week, where they engage in activities such as playtime, reading picture books, or going for walks.

The focus is on helping the children learn and develop their Danish language skills in a natural and enjoyable way. In addition to the volunteer program, 2 Timer om Ugen offers various initiatives such as SprogKlubber (language clubs), trips, children's parties, and a supportive community. By creating the right linguistic environment, 2 Timer om Ugen acknowledges the importance of providing children with the necessary foundation to learn the language effectively.
