Faith For Family Health Initiative (3FHI) is a national inter-faith NGO in Uganda that is dedicated to improving women, children, and adolescent health (WCAH) through positive local solutions. We work in 13 districts and engage with influential faith leaders and scholars to address policy, structural, and normative challenges. Our approach involves enhancing the capacity of faith and religious leaders, institutions, and organizations to address the underlying determinants for WCAH through transformative processes.

We collaborate with local faith communities, cultural institutions, media, and youth to amplify their voices and influence health and gender actions. 3FHI's core strengths lie in our diverse engagement with faith institutions and structures, our capability to engage with media and political leadership, and our experienced technical staff. We are members of various national and global networks, including the Reproductive Maternal and Neonatal and Child Health Coalition and the Family Planning Budget Advocacy Group.

Our strategic goals include promoting WCAH in Uganda, influencing policies and investments, protecting WCAH from harmful practices, building program and advocacy capacity, and strengthening our own institutional capacity.
