Udruga "3. Zmaj" has been actively carrying out projects in the Rijeka area since 2005. Their projects are specifically tailored to young people, children, and a broader audience.

Over the years, the association has successfully implemented numerous major projects and a multitude of smaller activities, involving more than 30,000 young individuals from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia, and even abroad. The association's goals, as stated in their statute, include the promotion and popularization of arts, sciences, culture, technical culture, technology, and new media. They also aim to encourage creativity, artistic expression in literature, art, and new media, imagination, independent thinking, youth education and information, creative use of young people's free time, and the study, promotion, and preservation of Croatian culture, history, and heritage.

The association achieves its goals through various activities, such as thematic workshops, lectures, discussions, exhibitions, seminars, and collaborations with other organizations, institutions, and associations. They also participate in domestic and international events and organize scientific and cultural literacy programs. Their target groups encompass children, young people, talented individuals, students, and volunteers.

The areas of their activities include hobbies, culture and art, international cooperation, education, science, and research, as well as technical culture.
