4-H Shooting Sports

Welcome to National 4-H Shooting Sports, where we are passionate about promoting the sport of shooting to young enthusiasts. Our organization is comprised of a dedicated group of 4-H extension professionals who work together to guide state 4-H shooting sports programs in alignment with national 4-H goals. Our committee consists of up to four 4-H Program Leaders who act as Co-Chairs, along with representatives from the four National Extension Regions and 1890 Institutions.

To help with day-to-day operations, we have a program coordinator and a social media assistant. Our purpose is to provide leadership and oversight for national competitive events, offer professional development opportunities, and train volunteers in best practices for positive youth development. Our goal is to support and train state 4-H shooting sports program volunteers and Extension personnel in various areas, including youth representation, leadership, STEM learning, and inclusive programming.
