40FT Brewery is an independent micro-brewery and taproom located in Dalston, Hackney. Since its inception in 2015, this neighbourhood brewery has been producing fresh and modern beer. It all started with three homebrewers who made beer for their house parties in a Hackney Houseshare kitchen.

Their passion and talent soon led them to transform two 20ft shipping containers into their brewing space, situated in a disused Dalston car park. Over the past six years, 40FT Brewery has experienced organic growth, expanding by adding more shipping containers and assembling a skilled team of 15 individuals. They now operate on a 10HL brew kit, allowing them to produce a weekly output of 7,000 pints.

Their beer can be found in pubs and restaurants throughout East London, as well as in their award-winning taproom. Speaking of the taproom, it serves as the heart of 40FT Brewery. The goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space, often referred to as Dalston's living room.

In fact, in 2021, they were proudly recognized as the UK's Best Independent Craft Beer Taproom by SIBA. With ten taps available, customers can enjoy a variety of fresh beers brewed on-site, including their core range, special releases, limited editions, and collaboration brews.
