44 Ramps is a New Zealand skate-ramp and skate-space business offering design, construction, products, consultation and event services. Its work serves public parks, councils, ramp builders and people creating skate features at home, with an emphasis on a quality skating experience and durable, considered designs.
The company builds skate ramps for public and private settings and supplies Gator Skins Ramp Surface, which it identifies as a skater-tested and preferred surface. Its product range also includes kit ramps for do-it-yourself projects. Kits can include ramp plans, foundation drawings, material lists with cut lengths, fittings, CNC-cut transitions, materials, freight and on-call support; customers can also choose to purchase only the components they need. 44 Ramps provides ramp plans for those building their own features.
For larger projects, the business offers asphalt and concrete pump-track design and construction, as well as design-and-build services for skate parks and other wheeled spaces. Consultation is available for skate and wheeled projects.
