The 476th Virtual Fighter Group (vFG) is a prominent international multiplayer organization dedicated to realistic flight simulation through the DCS World series, developed by Eagle Dynamics. Founded on March 23, 2012, by a group of aviation enthusiasts from around the globe, the vFG emphasizes the use of authentic tactics, techniques, and procedures to create an immersive and educational flying experience.
The organization operates several squadrons, including the 76th vFighter Squadron, which specializes in A-10C missions, and the 421st vFighter Squadron, recognized for its adoption of the F-16C. Additionally, the 510th vFighter Squadron proudly represents the first virtual Naval Strike Fighter Squadron with the F/A-18C. The 476th vFG is committed to member development, offering extensive training programs and fostering camaraderie among participants. With a focus on continuous skill enhancement, the group maintains a youthful and enthusiastic atmosphere suitable for both new and seasoned pilots, all while pursuing the challenges of realistic flight in a multiplayer environment.
