4H Helicopters

4H Helicopters Pty Ltd is a family-owned aviation company based near Charters Towers, Queensland, serving cattle regions west and north-west of the state, the Gulf Country and the Barkly Tablelands of the Northern Territory. The company specialises in helicopter mustering, helping rural businesses gather and move livestock across large properties. Its pilots and ground crews undertake jobs ranging from small mobs to operations involving thousands of head.

The company also provides training and mustering endorsements for qualified helicopter pilots seeking to enter the mustering industry. Led by instructor Frank Hoare, who has more than 23 years of mustering experience, its programs focus on developing safe, practical skills for working cattle from the air. 4H Helicopters also aims to create employment opportunities for successful endorsement candidates.

Beyond routine operations, the company offers helicopter support during floods and fires. Its disaster-relief work has included evacuating people and animals, relocating cattle and horses, and delivering fodder to stranded livestock.
